2018 - Digital Finance Colloquium
Ground-breaking Colloquium to be held in Johannesburg
On 22-26 October 2018, a Colloquium entitled ‘Digital Finance in Africa’s Future: Innovations and Implications’ will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Organised by Disrupting Africa, in association with the Johannesburg Institute of Advanced Studies and the Human Economy Programme at the University of Pretoria University of Pretoria, the Colloquium will bring together African innovators in the field of digital finance as well as academics to discuss the latest developments in this rapidly expanding and increasingly important field.
Opening Keynote Address
The Colloquium will be opened by Mr Trevor Manuel, former South African Minister of Finance. This will take place at 17h30 on Monday 22 October 2018 at the University of Johannesburg Centre Theatre on the Auckland Park Kingsway (APK) campus. His address will be followed by a panel discussion on ‘The Impact of Digital Finance on Africa’s Growth’, and a reception.
