Ayman Essawy is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Dsquares.[1] Dsquares is a company that aims toward creating seamless, technology-based loyalty rewards solutions for businesses that are driven by data and insights.[2]

He is the Co-Founder of Lucky. Lucky is a mobile app or website that offers you online and in-store discounts, cashback and mobile recharge that are just a click away.[3]

Essawy is a tech business entrepreneur and he has a track record in business management and over 12 years of experience in technology, product, business development and strategic planning.[4]

He is skilled in business development, digital marketing and e-commerce.[5]


He attended Manor House School from 1989 to 2001. He then went onto receive his Bachelor degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in 2006 in Egypt.


Essawy started off by being a Product Development and Pre-Sales employer for Alkan Telkom from October 2006 to May 2008. In that same month, he assumed his position as Operations Supervisor for Fullerton Financial Holdings, a long-term strategic and operating investor in financial and related services in emerging markets[6] at Temasek Holdings, a global investment company,[7] and maintained this position until January 2009. A month later, he became the Business Development and Operations Manager at Sarmady, a Vodafone Company, until February 2011. He remained with Vodafone and became the Marketing Senior Team Leader, Digital and Mobile Media in Egypt from March 2010 to December 2011.

His work at Dsquares started in January 2012 when he was the Co-Founder and COO of the company. He later assumed his position as Managing Director for the company in January 2021 in Cairo, Egypt.

Essawy is also the Co-Founder and GM of Lucky App and assumed this position in January 2021 in Egypt.

Awards and Achievements

Essawy was selected to join the Global Endeavor network, allowing him to gain access to various support services and scale his business. The organisation aims to increase long-term economic growth and supports entrepreneurs that have passed through the startup phase and indicate the potential for rapid expansion and scale.[8] This network is specifically dedicated to High Impact Entrepreneurs.[9]
