His career commenced with his position as an Analyst in Corporate and Investment Banking for Citi,[13] a foreign bank,[14] in 2005 until 2006 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Following this position, Wazen became a Senior Associate in the Management Consulting and Private Equity division for Delta Partners,[15] an advisory platform in the telecoms, media and tech space.[16]. He remained in this position from May 2006 until May 2012 in Dubai, Johannesburg and Barcelona.[17] He became a non-executive board member at Progressum Partners[18], a conglomerate that focuses on key sectors that support the economic and social development of emerging economies in Africa,[19] in July 2012.[20]
